FC launch on Loch Carron

Alex MacLeman (standing on right) was forester for both North and South Strome forests around 1950 and as well as crossing with the Strome Ferry they sometimes used the Forestry Commission launch that was based in the Loch. (It is possible that this same launch may have been transferred down to Polloch on Loch Shiel about 1976 when land without a road at Achanellan was acquired – it had a petrol Ricado engine at that time).
Any stories of the forests, forest people and names of the other two people on board would be very welcome.
Can anyone name the boat?

Not sure if this is the same launch but the one that went to Loch Shiel around 1976 came from Ratagan, and I'm told it was called "The Sheena". My Mother remembers it being loaded onto a Foresty lorry at Ratagan for the trip. They seemingly had quite a struggle to get it on. It was a lot longer than the lorry. She is not certain if was the Ratagan lorry, which at that time would have been driven by Gordon MacRae. We lived there from 1970 to 1978 and I don't recall the launch being used when we were there. I think it was originally used for the plantation at Ardintoul on Loch Alsh but by the 70s a forest road had been built over the hill from the Glenelg side.

The Photo was taken on the shore between Leachanashie and Ardaneaskan. There were small wooden jetties built on the shore on both sides of the loch. (The oak piles can still be seen on the shore today).It looks like the boat is near the one on the north side, the other being at Portachuilin on the south side. It looks like steam coming from the funnel of a train by Alex MacLeman's left arm as that's the line of the the railway to Kyle of Lochalsh.
