Alex MacLeman at Duncraig, Plockton
Photograph courtesy of Don MacLeman shows his father Alex MacLeman, (next to camera) at that time Forester at North and South Strome Forests with a Tree Expert at Duncraig Forest.
The photograph was taken circa 1950 when Duncraig Forest, near Plockton, was at that time privately owned. The name of the expert and the reason for the visit have been forgotten over time
Does anyone recognise the distinctive tree expert or the exact location of the photograph?

Looks like the entrance to Duncraig Castle, Large Sitka Spruce still stands right beside the road.
