Hard snowy winter in Ardross Forest circa 1963

Don says ‘Photo attached is of my sister Eileen and James (Jamesie) MacKay taken in the yard of ‘The Offices’ at Mid-Ardross one very bad winter for snow c1960. Jamesie is the same age as me and like his father before him worked for the Forestry Commission all his life at Ardross. Jamesie was and probably still is the leader of the extremely popular Ardross Dance Band. The yard in the photo was beside the house we lived in and where the forest office was. You can see the FRP No 1 sign quite clearly above the notice board behind them’
