Cone gathering: The cone-rake

The cone-rake can be used in conjunction with other tools, such as the tree bicycle, for pushing or pulling the the cones from the end of long, slender branches when, even with the support of the safety line, it is difficult to get into position for hand-picking. light line is used to haul the rake up into the crown. A cone sheet is places on the ground for a gatherer to thrown cones into to ease finding.
