Lifting plants in Tulliallan Nursery
The image is from a photograph collection that was originally stored at Kincardine Forest District office at Durris and may have been taken by Sandy Sandilands.
From the follow on images it is thought that this is Tulliallan Nursery as the Forth Estuary can be seen and also by the presence of the heavy duty pylon lines leading to Longannet Power Station. The year is estimated to be around 1981.
This unusual tractor is pulling a Z & B plant lifter which looks very new and possibly on trial. The tractor is Iseki Model TS3500F about which little is written up on. It looks very compact and looks to have 4 wheel drive. There are some claims that these tractors were not made until 1990/91 but this image is certainly older than that.
