The photographs are courtesy of Will Anderson, Seafield and Strathspey Estates and also his father Willie Anderson/Kincardine Local History Group. Both men worked for a period with the Forestry Commission in Tulliallan Nursery and surrounding forests.This photograph and a number of others were given to Willie Anderson by Jean Stoddard (nee Gibb) whose father Jock Gibb is in some of the photographs. The photographs were placed in the Kincardine History Group archive by Willie Anderson. The year the photographs were taken is unknown but estimated roughly as between1947-1950 and 1948 has been allocated as the year.

The group of workers posing in the nursery with five of their colleagues at least looking on from behind. The waistcoat, low collar shirts, heavy trousers and leather boots the work dress of the day.
