Unknown group – Possibly Forest Research and other staff
The photograph is courtesy of Malcolm Macdonald, London area, whose father James is present and at this time probably as Research Officer for Scotland.
There is no information with this image and a year has been guessed at by the relatively young appearance of James A B Macdonald who took up the post of Forest Research Officer Scotland in 1933. It is likely this is a group of senior forestry and research staff on tour. The gentlemen Nos 3, 5, 6 and 8 have very similar jackets and may well be the foresters uniform jacket of that time.
The group have been numbered and some names added as follows:
