Rotary Plough at Parkgate or Chapelhall?
Photograph is courtesy of Jim Christie, Crook of Devon, a former senior mechanical engineer in the Forestry Commission.
Nice image of a newly constructed experimental rotary plough that was designed to plough up lower level soil horizons and mix it with the upper humous layers to improve tree rooting and take on the drier more infertile gravel sites.
Can anyone confirm where this machine was constructed?
