Inverinate Forest (Dorusduan)Upper Glomach Spur Road
One of a series of maps and drawings found in old ex military map cases stored in the loft of the Fort August Forest office and recovered by Grant Macintosh.
A longitudinal section and plan drawing of a survey of a new road in Dorusduan section of Inverinate Forest carried out by Arthur Vickers in what is estimated to be 1964. This spur road route appears to be crossing a great number of small streams as indicated in the longitudinal
Section. There is no indication of minor culverts being located anywhere but it is likely that the Road Engineer would place them in at time of construction. The rain fall in the local area would certainly necessitate their placement.
