Glen Brittle Forest – Glen Kraknish Middle Road
One of a series of maps and drawings found in old ex military map cases stored in the loft of the Fort August Forest office and recovered by Grant Macintosh.
A road engineering survey and plan profile drawing of the Middle Kraknish (Kraiknish) forest road in Glen Brittle Forest, Skye. The two separate sections of the drawing are the one continuous route but separated to fit on the one drawing sheet. The drawing is assumed to be by Mike Johnson as is the following one in the attached PDF but both surveyed by Arthur Vickers possibly dated around 1964.
