Hemek Feller Buncher at Kielder

“This FC Hemek Feller buncher was brought up from Wales to evaluate the possibility of using this type of machine at Kielder. It was only up for a week as quickly it was found out that not having a brash mat in peat wasn’t going to work. Also processing the trees at roadside made it difficult to stack and segregate products, and required a steady stream of lorries removing the logs.”
