Dragging Corsican pine in Culbin Forest

No information on this image other than it was taken by the Vauxhall Motors Photographic section and is numbered 35428-12. The year is estimated around 1967 but could be a bit out. Does anyone know the story behind these Vauxhall images and the name of the horseman?

The horseman is Charlie Petrie who lived at Cloddymoss with his parents and 2 sisters during the 1960's
