The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many forestry photographs in his forestry career and some are now shown on this web site although the whole forestry collection is now in Aberdeen University library archives.

Loading operations of 3 meter pulpwood by what is possibly and independent loader onto a small lorry with registration number NST472J. Out in front is a small Leyland truck or lorry but no timber pins registration number ORG315M.

Any information on the lorry owners, operators and men in the photograph would be very welcome. See larger picture.
