This Gowla plough was being trialled in Moss Morran, Blairadam at one point and this may be the location. The team of men appear as though they are trying to uncouple the light weight Gowla aluminium plough from behind the bogged long wide County tractor in order to increase its chances of climbing out of the predicament. This area must be particularly soft as this machine and plough had some of the lowest ground pressures of any forestry machines.
Some of the men could be Research Foresters observing the trial – can anyone in the group be named.
