Strathyre Forest Hostel lads

William spent two years on a Forestry Commission apprentice scheme in Strathyre Forest living in the hostel with about 16 other young lads. Here he is with some of his forestry colleagues and some local children. The children are Neil McGeachie on the left and Bobby Johnston on the right. The forestry lads are from the left James Stuart, Norman Crowe and William Fleming.

Can anyone else remember these young lads?
