Will comments:
‘Another two of Young’s machines stripping and excavating a section of the Crown Estate quarry at Cairn Daimh in Glenlivet October 1994 during road building operations in the block. The Cat dozer operator would be Ian (as in Picture No 927) but I do not know the machine model. The excavator is a JCB 814.’

Any details of the machines and the operators would be very welcome?

The operator of the komatsu Drott at that time was Bill Forbes (Stobbs) from Dyce and l was on the 814 . A hot spell with no breeze and no air conditioning but plenty of dust . Comment left on 08 October 2017 at 06:46 by Jim knowles
