Forestry Commission Glenmore Forest Trails leaflet circa 1975
The leaflet is one of a small number of older maps and information leaflets passed on by Brian Duff of Forestry and Land Scotland, North Region, Inverness.
Unfortunately the year of production of this leaflet is not known but any information on the year would be very welcome.
The leaflet describes a substantial amount of Glenmore forestry history and tree species encountered. However it also describes three trails in The Queens Forest – the former name for Glenmore Forest. The three trails described are:
Shore Trail
Pinewood Trail
River Trail
Their descriptions in the leaflet include details at numbered Marker Posts spaced along the sides of the trails and also two trail outline maps.
