Strathnaver – Patrick Sellar’s House
The photograph was taken by the late Finlay MacRae who was a District Officer in the Forestry Commission based in Dingwall at the time. The images are courtesy of his daughter Donna.
Not certain of the exact location from which this view was taken but possibly from east side of the River Naver at Dalvina Lodge just on the forestry track that heads into the Rosal and Truderscaig Forest areas.
The church and houses are on the Syre side, the west side of the river. Uncertain which is claimed to be Patrick Sellar's house.
