The Slasher Centenary Edition 2019
The Slasher Centenary Commemorative Edition was written by James Ogilvie who started working for the Forestry Commission as a student in 1978 before joining as an Assistant District Officer in 1980. Formally President of ICF, he has raised over £50k for Tree Aid through his climbing the Seven Summits. Now a Non-executive Director of the Woodland Trust and Corrour, his is also the hands-on owner of an award winning woodland in Northumberland.
Guest Editor James Ogilvie gives a timeline and history of the Forestry Commission from its beginning in 1919 to the celebration of the centenary in 2019. Interesting factoids and photographs are included throughout the edition.
