Hugh Clayden is trying to identify a piece of machinery lying within an area of FES-managed P58 woodland near the Lake of Menteith in Central Scotland. It may be an early skidder, mobile sawmill, an ex-agricultural reaper and part of a windmill/water pump. Jim Christie has some suggestions.
