Shoreline at Culbin or Roseisle Forests
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
Wooden posts inserted just below the high tide line to break up the erosive action of heavy waves. The photograph captures the force of the sweeping waves being disrupted by the posts into a more jumbled and less scouring action.
