Ploughed planting site in Morayshire?
The image is from a collection of slides and photographs ‘rescued from the skip’ and handed to Forestry Memories. Generally very little information with or about them and for details we will have to rely on readers’ memories or geographical knowledge.
Can anyone name the location and the gentleman?
Appears to be Lodgepole pine on a pretty infertile looking site. Possibly south and east of Ben Rinnes in Morayshire but that is guess.
The fields have stooks in them rather than bales and there are some corn stacks as well incating 1960s or very early 1970s.
