Retirement of Willie (Doods) McIntosh - Newton Nursery
The photograph is courtesy of Myra Younie who maintained a collection of Forestry Commission event and retirement photographs when she worked in the forestry offices in Morayshire. Note that LOM refers to Laigh of Moray forest Unit which included Culbin, Monaughty, Roseisle as well as Newton forestry areas.
Willie was a ganger at Newton Nursery and he retires after 46 years service with the Forestry Commission. Ian Grant, Conservator East Scotland presented Willie with his long service certificate at a dinner dance in the Laigh Moray Hotel, Elgin.
