Mounted tine ripper on Economic Forestry Group site at Dunira near Comrie
Photograph courtesy of John Burrow, Perth.
The frame for the mounting of the twin tines made by Clark of Park Gate can be clearly seen. The large vertical tine blades emerging from the ground will have disrupter wings welded on the bottom and may also tow a mole plug to create a drainage channel but not often used in this soil type. Mounted on a Caterpillar D4D the whole outfit may have been on contract from McLarty of Crieff to Economic Forestry Group for work on their site at Dunira near Comrie, Perthshire.
The PDF below has another view of the machine outfit and site.
