Memorial to Winifred Cooper
The photograph is courtesy of Glenbranter Forest office staff with particular thanks to Ian Adams who has stored these old files for many years.
The little memorial plaque and tree is located in the Kilmun Arboretum just above the Forestry Commission office where Winifred worked it is thought from 1974- 1986.

Mr & Mrs Croft (Eric Croft was employed in the Research Branch at the old Kilmun FC Office)
Mr Cooper (Winifred’s Husband)
? (we think it is Winifred’s sister but do not know her name)
Margaret Robinson (Admin Officer at the old Kilmun FC Office)
Rita Kennedy (Typist at the old Kilmun FC Office)
The tree planting was carried out in the Kilmun Arboretum (which was just behind the office) by Ian Adams (FC Forest Craftsman).
