Tarbert Station Wood – Cowal Forest District
The photograph is courtesy of Glenbranter Forest office staff with particular thanks to Ian Adams who has stored these old files for many years.
It is not clear what type of work is actually being carried out here but could be rhododendron ponticum and conifer clearance to promote the existing broadleaved trees.
