Strathmashie Forest Road Plan
Maps are courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and show the forest area originally part of Strathmashie Forest and then Queen’s Forest and then all amalgamated into Culloden Forest District.
This map plan shows the extent of the road network in Strathmashie Forest as at 1985 and also the types and category of forest road.
The purple roads are the public road network from which the forest roads start. The green roads are the higher quality timber lorry haulage routes and the red roads the lighter vehicle access routes or those used by timber forwarders.
