Culloden Forest — Dundavie Wood
Maps are courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and show the forest area originally part of Culloden Forest and then Culloden Forest District.
This is only part of the Dundavie Wood on the edge of Drumossie Moor and close to the Culloden Battle site. The renumbered compartments run form 16-21 and the planting years 23-67 indicating that possibly some felling and replanting had taken place. Tree species notes as Sitka and Norway spruce with some Scots pine and larch.
