Stockholm Forestry Students Tour - East Scotland

In 1966 Forestry Students from the Royal College of Forestry in Stockholm visited Craigvinean Forest, Ledmore Nursery, Drumtochty and Clashindarroch Forests.
The tour guide is attached in a PDF format (click PDF below image)which gives descriptive details of the forests and nursery visited, the names of the supervisory staff and numbers of employees.
Nusery practice at Ledmore is well described and Mr A Rose's role in developing nursery machinery such as the Ledmore Plough.
Much time is devoted to the problems of growing Sitka spruce on difficult sites as well as larch and Norway spruce survival.
