Woodland Census of 1947 Instructions to Surveyors

The instructions detail the procedure for the country wide census survey of the forest and woodlands of GB in 1947. They focus on the survey of non Forestry Commission woodlands which it seems had its own staff as surveyors. Note the samples of the enumeration form with what is assumed to be the yellow carbon copy. Note that this form was used for private and Forestry Commission woodlands.
