History of Cubin Forest - Coastal Erosion 1973
This document is courtesy of the Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District describes the work that was done 1968 – 1973 to prevent erosion of the foreshore. Photographs of the protection measures do exist but as yet not to hand.
The PDF article highlights the some of the difficulties and reverses but also at that time the successes. The costs are listed in a table.
