Photographs courtesy of Brian Patience with help from Don MacLeman, Newnham. Photographs were taken by John Patience (Uncle of Brian) who was a forester at Glengarry at the time but had been sent up to Strathy Forest for a short period.

The Forestry Commission Bedford van – Reg No: VYT 420 is stopped beside the Strathy Forest sign with part of the forest laid out behind. The boundary deer fence can just be seen on the left hand side.
