Valmet Forwarder at Laiken Forest

This Valmet Forwarder Registration number GFS165T is an early six wheel version. Can anyone recognise the model number?
This machine was photographed in Laiken Forest near near Nairn and the driver was Bill Cameron.

This looks like it's a Valmet 872k model. A local contractor used to have one, it worked up to the late 1990's in the forests of mid-wales extracting spruce off difficult terrain. Good strong machines.

Used to watch my father Jimmy use one to clear woodland...he used to go back & forth between the longman workshop & culloden sawmill before he retired 30 years ago...
