Inverinate Forest Planting Map

Very definitely a hard worked hand drawn map of Inverinate and Dorus Duain Forests located at the head of Loch Duich. The earliest plantings appear to have been in 1927 and this map details the progression over the years to 1934 by which time much of the area was fully planted up. The map also has many hand written notes and also tables indicating the annual progress of work. The Planting year and species are quite well defined but the compartment numbers are hard to make out and consist of red letters and number eg C2 or C12a.
In all it seems that around 100 acres was planted over the seven year period a very large proportion of it on singularly steep slopes. The slopes may have contributed to errors in measurement on the ground being converted to the map. There is a note referring to some area discrepancies between what was claimed as planted and what the map actually shows.
Any further early details and names of foresters and workers would be very welcome.
