Douglas fir boards in Mosstodloch Mill

The Douglas fir logs were felled in a very high quality stand of trees in Monaughty Forest from one of the Forestry Commission’s earliest plantings. These appear to be the side boards cut into shorter products and being loaded onto a lorry trailer. Note the stacks of timber in the background.

I think this is Bill Craib who recorded the stock each mill made. He also operated the drying kiln.
