Beaker Cist at Dornoch Forest Nursery
The item is courtesy of Ernie Michie, Inverness who was District Officer in Dornoch District at the time the nursery workers came upon the capstone of the burial cist.
The excavation was carried out by Patrick Ashmore of Historic Buildings and Monuments, Edinburgh assisted by K Antonio and R Gourlay.
