Snowman Rally Meall More
The photograph is courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and staff at their Fort Augustus office.
Many have been taken by George Dey and features a Ford Escort tackling the Snowman Rally route in the forest. The name Andrews is written on the car bonnet.
Can someone identify the driving team and forest name?

Mealmore is that section of Culloden Forest (Formerly Strathdearn Forest )

However the 'ANDREWS' across the bonnet is the clue to the driver and the car.
Russell Brookes was the driver at this event and he went on to win the British Open Championship in 1977, driving a factory Escort RS1800. He continued driving for Ford until the end of the 1979 season.
'ANDREWS' were Russell's sponsors and I quote from 'Wikipedia', "In 1974 Brookes started one of the longest running sponsorship deals in motorsport when he signed with Andrews - Heat for Hire (a portable heating and air conditioning company). Their distinctive yellow colour scheme graced nearly all of his cars through to 1991. During this period the sponsors' turnover grew from £1.5m to over £60m making it a benchmark for other sponsorship deals." You can also read on the sun visor sticker the slogan "ANDREWS Heat for Hire".
