Mr A Pardy Assistant District Officer

The images have been taken from parts of original fixed point photographs of an underplanting experiment in Glenurqhuart Forest initiated in 1927 possibly by Frank Oliver who was District Officer for the area from 1927-1936. The experiment photographs, featured in Picture Numbers 3134 – 3141, included people in each of the different years.
The images are very grainy as they have been enlarged many times from three small separate photographs which included Mr A Pardy. The actual names were added as rough notes to the photographs at some point after the album was completed and there may be some doubt as to their accuracy. The 1927 photographs above were annotated as ‘A Pardy Assist District Officer’
