Hand drawn Speymouth Forest Map No1
Maps are courtesy of Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District.
Hand drawn map shows the outline of the acquired areas around the village of Mosstodloch which were then available for planting or replanting. Unfortunately on this map and its companion Map No2 there is no indication of a date or originator apart from initials which look like VB on the bottom left corner of Map No 2. The year 1950 is just a rough estimate.

Wood of Stynie
Castle Hill
Balnacoul Wood
