Senior FC staff view 1953 Gale devastation

This Bon-Accord Photograph is courtesy of company and Forestry Commission, Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District who hold the image.

The senior staff comprising of from left, Mr Gosling, Professor Steven, Lord Radnor and Sir Henry Beresford Peirse have undertaken a tour on 12 Feb 1953 of some of the devastated forests in Kincardine and Aberdeenshire areas some 12 days after the event when the snow was still on the ground.

There is no indication of the location or area.
