Caterpillar D7 and deep tine plough at Tulliallan

A series of images of the new D7 Caterpillar tractor MGN581L, FC62221 with large single mouldboard tine plough capable of going down to a depth of 90 cm (S60/T90/m). The outfit is working on a harvested windblown pine site (blown in Jan 1968 gale) attempting to improve aeration and drainage and provide a good planting position in the midst of the branches and felling debris. In this image it is working in one of the more difficult parts of the site. Photo by Andy Neustein May 1973.
