Foresters at roadside
Small thumbnail size slide found in forestry office drawer in Huntly along with picture nunber 234. Who are they and which year? Picture in group called - Mystery and unknown. Please check this group out now and again as more to be added shortly

I'm sure I recognise the forester on the left. I met him in Dalavich back in 1976/77, cannot remember his name at present.

The forester on the right is my late father George Wilbert who was at Inverliever from 1971 to1976.

I think the man on the right could be Robert Fraser (from Fort Augustus ) who moved from Speymouth Forest to somewhere in Argyll in 1971.

Thank you indeed Adrian and Frank. That mystery photo slide sat in my desk for 17 years and then it has taken a further 11 years on the website to find the answer but it has worked and very chuffed indeed!!

It is indeed Bob Fraser and George Wilbert taking dinner at the side of the road on the long brae south of Dalavich on the way to Ford. George was HF Forest Management. I had not long started life as a Harvesting forester after 2 years as a trainee at Speymouth. Circa 1975
