This early form of the JCB with additional cage wheels fixed on is draining around the experimental site at Rydon Moor. A second JCB 4 without cages with similar round backed bucket drained within the experimental area. Note the JCB excavator still appears to be a tractor base with added structures to support the front and rear buckets. Photos by K F Baker 1962
