Solotrac Ploughing at Halwill Forest Experiment

Solotrac plough being pressed into service for this draining experiment at Halwill Forest. The plough is being pulled by a BTD 6 tracked dozer bladed tractor no doubt being the most convenient machine available. Some of the ploughing spaced as normal but one area is complete ploughed. Here the plough is being winched through a very wet patch. Photographed by K F Baker in 1962.
