The large tine machine is being pulled by an International TD 18 and appears to be working in an old felled woodland. No other information given but reference Andy Neustein’s History of plough development he mentions that John Blane originally based in Edinburgh as FC Mechanical Engineer but latterly as national coordinator for purchase and management of ploughing fleet used his contacts and trialled the above machine fitted with three Blawknox tines normally used for ripping up concrete runways.
Following on from this the single tooth on a beam developed enabling cultivation in very hard stoney sites or those with hard packed soils.
