Water Buffalo and DMB Plough Strathy Forest

The Cuthbertson tractor and double mouldboard plough are working on a research experimental area in Strathy Forest ploughing at 10 foot intervals giving turf rows at 5 foot apart.
There is obviously a breakdown and one of the men is fixing what could be the winch cable. The Buffalo driver is still on top of the tractor looking down and possibly the man working with the rope could be the driver of another tractor on site. The others must presumably be research foresters. The front winch can more easily be seen in this image. Can anyone be named?
