Felling 50 year old Sitka spruce above Eynort
The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many forestry photographs in his forestry career and many are now shown on this web site. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.
An over view of the Sitka spruce felling site with fellers and foresters looking over the job. This area must have been one of the earliest plantings in Glen Brittle Forest circa 1930.
