Not a 'wild' guess, but a guess nontheless, but that looks like it might be at Ardkinglas Estate on Loch Fyne. Renowned for some spectacularly large trees.

John- you could well be correct as there is a strong similarity with the tree base shape and slope featured in John Keenleyside's photo in Picture Number 2867.
