Riddoch’s Kinnoir Sawmill 1975
The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.
A well loaded G Harrold and Sons ERF lorry is now waiting beside the ramp to unload and the workers are hand rolling and lifting the logs on the ramp to may way for the material. Possibly the only mechanised part of this log ramp is the last bit that runs steeply up to the saw bench in the shed.
Note that the lorry has a hydraulic loader attached.
