Sunart Forest - New Deer fencing in Achanellan

This team is erecting a new deer fence along the top edge of the Achanellan block above Polloch about 1977. I think the two are Douglas Reid and Chris Sharp. Fairly difficult terrain and the material on the top edge was laid out by helicopter. Note the iron standard next to the burn that had to be set in drilled rock and leaded in. Material on the lower edge along Loch Shiel was largely brought in by a forestry motor launch.
